PROCESS

1. Release tension on the belt.
2. Remove the supercharger idler pulley including the bracket.

3. Route the belt under the pulley and reinstall pulley and bracket.
4. Put washer on new bolt, slide bolt through new pulley and mount it in the existing hole just above the upper alternator bolt.
5. Attach nut and tighten. May be tricky due to clearance. I used a magnet to hold the nut in place to get it started.

6. Route belt over this pulley.

7. Reapply tension to the belt.

8. Check everything first then start car and check everything again.

9. TAA-DAA!!! (as Professor Woody would say) yer done!

I've had this on for over 700 miles so far and it WORKS! Yes you may see lines on the flat side of the belt where the belt rides on the ribbed side of the pulley but it is NOT wearing into the belt.
If someone can come up with a part number for a smooth pulley that would be GREAT! I used what I had on hand thus the ribbed pulley.

NOTE: This install works with MY combination of the Code 3 pulley and the 181 Crank pulley using the stock length belt. Your application may require a longer or shorter belt. Works perfect for my application. Not responsible for damage, loss of life or limb, for off road use only, ya-da, ya-da, ya-da.

Saves ya about $175 worth a try. Hope it works for you!
