Cool James,
I am working to try and get a bunch of these.
Paul Jordan (writer) has sent me at least one copy which has not yet arrived.
I will see to it that everyone who wants a copy gets one if possible.
Priority will be given to members who attended the Fall Dragon meet since this is how this story originated.

I would love one, to frame and preserve. Thanks in advance, Gary.

Just received this email from Paul.....
I will be contacting them on Monday to see about getting a bunch of copies.........

Hey, Gary!

I got such a 'kick' seeing how much everyone liked my article.
You should not have any problem ordering as many copy's as you like from Old Autos at their 348 Main Street, Bothwell, Ontario....NOP1CO Canada address.
Phone: 519 695 2303
I don't think the I-8oo number will work from the U.S but here it is ...1 800 461 3457
The fax is :519 695 3716

I really try to keep my word and yes, the Old Autos copy is in the mail to you.
Its in a yellow package which I mailed out Wednesday, Dec 31.
By buying all those copies, I may get some 'brownie points'!!!
It really is an excellent family run paper which has old time 'heart'
Even though their priority may be with older vehicles, they appreciate 'LOVE' of any wheeled thing!

I really am proud to have furthered the knowledge of an excellent little 'GEM' to the public at large. I
f anything at all comes out of my writing career, I will be joining your club as an owner!

Gary, I hope he buys one before his article drives the price back up.

Look forward to hearing from Paul again.
He should just join the forum, car or no car..

OK..
Today I ordered 25 copies of the Old Autos edition that featured our Crossfires.
I have noted all the requests from both the forum and the club and will be sending a PM to these folks here at the .org site
I have 19 already accounted for.
I asked and was told I can get more if I need them.
If you have not already posted or sent me a PM stating that you want a copy I will only be accepting PM's here at .org for any further requests.
Thanks, Gary

Just sharing another email message I received from Paul (Our story writer) today........

Gary!

I'm so happy and impressed that my little article was so well received.
Your "Crossfire" members are very passionate about that little car.
I was pleased that you put my last email into your 'forum'.

I have only just scratched the potential of this computer 'stuff'.
I'm sort of stuck in 'neutral' right now...still miss my old job but I have hopes that writing will go somewhere.
Again, I'm amazed how much that story got around via the Internet.

Paul

An update from our writer (Paul Jordan)
He is now a member of this forum
I received this email this morning.
As soon as he gets logged on I will help him find this thread so he can say hello for himself........

Hey, Gary!

I was able to join up by following directions you provided.
It did take me a few tries (3).
I am now having trouble getting on the forum and can only (for now) send a quick Email.
Again I'm not used to computer set ups and sometimes a little knowledge can be dangerous.

I do want to stay in contact with the group, I enjoy and share your enthusiasm for the little car.
I am hoping with additional information and shared passion to eventually buy a Roadster Crossfire...possibly the 'yellow' color that I love so much and, of course a manual transmission.
I only have a four car garage which is filled right now with my two Corvettes (1963 roadster and 1961 roadster), a 1970 SS 'big block' Chevelle convertible (the only 'automatic' car I own!) and a R.S. Cavalier convertible (full load).
I have found that as I get older I do not have the time to drive all these vehicles and 'really' want all my cars at home in the garage.
I hope to sell the Cavalier to make room for a Crossfire.
I've really cut down so that I don't have to store cars in barns.

Again, Gary this is all in the future.
I really Thank all the members of the Crossfire Auto Club and especially yourself for the encouragement I have received from all.
I Still have the hope to find the sales brochure at some out of the way Chrysler dealership....this gives me a search ambition that is very enjoyable!

Paul

I am still waiting on the copies to arrive from the publisher.
Those that have sent me checks and PM's I am keeping track of.
I will be holding all your checks until I have the Old Autos Paper in the mail to you.

Thanks,Gary

It was a good story Paul. I hope your writing career goes well. With you talent, it should. Your story simply amplified the experience of the weekend at the Dragon for me and many.

Thanks for publishing the great words about the Crossfire, and this group. Yes, we are very passionate.

Welcome to the forum.

Hello Everyone!
My official name is 'route 66'. My 'real' name is Paul Jordan and I'm the guy who wrote the 'Crossfire' article for Old Autos. Such a beautiful coincidence happened as I was on my way to Florida. Nine little 'Gems' (Crossfires) passed me on their way to Tail of the Dragon. I've always had 'passion' for that little car and after meeting a whole bunch of Great People with similar enthusisum, my interest has grown. I did a little research for the article and really find some of the facts about this car fasinating. As you can see, I love to write ..Especially about vehicles...can't forget old trucks also.
My 'drawback' is that I'm very new and ignorant of 'computers'. I do have patience and so far have been able to do the required steps but I must say that I've been 'lucky'. I've 'posted' a similar Thread and I don't know where that one went...something to do with 'Quick Reply'.
I don't know if I'm going on too long, look out if I ever have 'coffee'!
Special Thanks to Gary (VALKRYDERGUY) who took the time to help me with getting here and whose personal Emails kept me 'in touch'.

I don't know, what's good to 'sign off?'...Crossfires 'forever'!!....
May Crossfires 'fill' your garage?..how about 'Keep the Passion'!
route 66
