100,000 mile club
Re: 100,000 mile club
That's insane. I wonder if the interior fell apart. lol
There is a shop I would go to in West Palm Beach that specialized in everything European, from lowly Mercedes/BMW up to rare exotics. The owner was telling me his wife had a Merc with the exact engine/trans pair as our car and aside from the occasional problem, all they had to do was regular oil changes before she was tired of the car and wanted something new. In that time, she racked up 250k.

172,000 km (106,000 miles) on mine. Only thing out of the ordinary to go was a bearing in the rear differential. replaced the cricket on crack siren with a Merc unit. Other than that, just oil changes, brakes, and smiles. Orig clutch too... Bought it two yrs old with 1200 km. The other 170,000 are all mine

ok. I'm at 157,000...12 years of daily driving... thus far repairs: stickey key, crank/cam sensor, changed tranny fluid/connector(yes, the O ring too)., two alternator changes (one my fault), and water pump. Coming up (this week), installing adjustable rear camber rods, and later exhaust gaskets ( I think I hear a leak)...other than the aforementioned issues, have had no major problems..

Biggest problem is getting that f*%$#(g bolt in and out on the body end.
( absolutely NO room to work )
Set up the replacement links same length as the ones you take out, when done take it to some place with a good HUNTER laser alignment setup and a tech that knows what he is doing.

Nice, many ppl talk about how scared they are to drive there Crossfires of fear, I keep saying we only hear problems and not many success stories.
Can you do me a favor and make a thread and title it.
Success stories.
That would be a great example for the 1st post.
General info, what done, how driven, winters?
Any Info.

My first SRT6, the black one, will turn over 150,000 very soon...secondary air pump is failing i think..replacing alarm battery this week also, new TPMS,
The only thing that worries me about driving these cars is worrying about a flat tire. I've never had a car without a freaking spare tire....so it goes....Peace

Flat tire, I've come to the conclusion tow or drive it. However the later will destroy the tire. I know this from experience.
