The first time I reset the FSS it took several tries before it finally worked. On the next oil change it only took one attempt to reset the FSS.

My FSS was showing -8. I checked my mileage since my last oil change with Mobil 1 & I have only driven 6538 miles. Total mileage is 45,000. Based on the discussion regarding how the sensor works this would mean that I have put hard miles on my XF. Most of my driving is around town with hard accelerations. Trip mileage has been less then 1000 miles. If hard miles is what it is telling me then I know I have been driving in the PermaGrin mode.
