Default High beam stalk positions not working

My high beams work when I turn on the headlights and set the stalk forward. But my ability to flash my high beams has gone away. Any ideas?

thanks

Looking at the circuit diagram, I think that the multi-function switch must be at fault.

Ignore the following link as it does not work.

Thanks,

Is this easy to replace? Is it the stalk?

Good find Greg! I'll keep this in mind should (when) it pops up on my Xfire.
P.S. Pelican has good jelly beans.

Do we have a .pdf in our files for this replacement? Just asking, since parts websites sometimes delete them after the parts sell out with no reorder.

Awesome ordering today.

Thanks!

Edit: Holy smokes, this is major surgery and isn't guaranteed to fix the high beams. Gulp. Looks complicated and a Pandoras box for non mechanics.

And if you tackle it, be sure you follow the airbag cautions very carefully. Disconnect NEG cable on battery and wait a while (review your PRINTED instructions a few times to get motivated) BEFORE you touch the airbag circuits if applicable.

And once the airbag is disconnected, do NOT for any reason reconnect the car's battery before you have it back in and connected.
If you do, then you are looking at a trip to a dealer that knows how to reset the airbags. ( $$$$$$ - if you can find one )
