Default Skreem replacement

Question: Can the Skreem module be replaced by a typical "Shade Tree Mechanic" and bring a Crossfire back to life?

I'm asking this as it might be me doing the job.

Any video's or write up's of programming how to's and what to watch for's?

I searched and found some answers, but not where it's all step by step correct and a doable fix.

Thanks.

Have you read the service manual for the Crossfire?
It explains how to do it.
You can find the manual in thread that is in my signature.
Or click HERE.
Coupe Manual CLICK.
