A better offer huh? What was the previous best offer? No iPod adapter for the factory Nav radio? I think I've got a pretty good offer already.

IPod integration kit for 2008+ Toyota's are $246.00 just for the kit. And the dealer has to install it because the firmware in the radio has to be updated and thats another hour of labor.

okay. the $180 you want for the kit is a bargain. I'll stick to that if it is flawless.

Show me where I said $180 and I'll show you a leprechaun riding a unicorn. I don't have a price yet so don't be posting stuff like this.

Sorry. The irony probably did not come across that well. Tell me when you finished and I'll gladly purchase one.

Yes, it charges the iPod. It couldn't hardly be called an iPod adapter if it didn't charge the thing.

Guess it's time to start another list. Who's first?

While I'm on about switches, explain the middle switch to the left of the emergency flasher. Is this another new mod for your srt6 or just wishful thinking?

What a great idea!

I just have one question.

What is an Ipod?

It's a switch for the cooling mod. I wanted them all to match and didn't want to drill any holes in my dash.

Cooling mod? I did a search and couldn't fine any "Rudy Approved" cooling mods.

I showed this one to a few people at the Dragon but I guess I really didn't put anything up here on the forum.

Alright, got pricing on the last parts to get these put together. Looking at about 2 weeks after the first 10 people commit so here we go!

The first 10 people to order will get a discount on them and the price will be $179.99 and free shipping After that, the price going forward will be $219.99 plus the standard $9.99 insured shipping. I'm structuring this initial offering to help me with how many I really need to make by incentive those that say they want one to actually buy it vs just saying they want it because they think it is cool and then never actually buying one as was the case with the Quick Touch Top module.

I searched for something like this for my ipod for 4 years. I avoided installing a aftermarket HU and with a little research realized that was the best option. I spent 130 for a new headunit (A Blaupunkt Plug and play model that took me 10 min to install myself--- and I know nothing about installing radios) My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Glad I bought it because I love how it plays MP3 discs. The silver face with green lighted screen even matches the interior. Best 130 I ever spent... and I put my factory radio away in a box where it will be safe.

No thanks... $130 for a whole stereo with a million extra options or $200 for a connector. I am sticking with my Blaupunkt.

Do you by chance have any pictures of the radio installed? I'm not disagreeing with you that spending $200 is better than only having to spend $130 but I've searched high and low for a radio that works with an iPod/iPhone and looks like it belongs in the dash and hadn't found anything so hence the reason for this iPod adapter. BTW, did I mention that I'm very picky at how everything looks.

We're talking about the NAV unit here. You can find a NAV unit with an Ipod connector that you can run from your HU for $130, that also matches the dash?
