Default Horn Wiring Question - 03-12-2010 , 05:18 PM

I just installed my CAI. I had removed the passenger side horn and I'm ready to plug it back in. Unfortunately, I did not note which wires when into which terminals. Does anyone know the horn wiring schematic?

Look to see if there is a 1 and a 2 labeled on the posts. 1 is the hot side which is black and pink and 2 is the ground which is brown. Most of the time it doesn't matter which side you have it connected. Some horns will sound funny if you have it connected backwards but most will sound the same wired up either way.

Thanks Rudy. I got it all hooked up and the car didn't explode.

So few of us Crossfire owners out here in CO. Good thing you didn't "blow up" Itsky, we need all we can get. Congrats on the CAI, can't wait to see it!

We should have met up today since it was so nice out, however, all my muscles ache from leaning over the car all day yesterday.

Thanks James. After posting this, I remembered that the service manuals were in the SRT6 section and saw that drawing there. Unfortunately my horns were not labeled with the "1" and "2".
