Default Kenwood Problem

The Kenwood KMR D558BT that I have fitted to my Crossfire worked fine till today. I received a phone call via bluetooth this morning with no problem but now for some reason the bluetooth symbol on the radio wont come on now and when I search with the phone it says it is switched off or out of range. I think that the phone is now pairing to the radio but not locking in for some reason, hence the radio is not recognising the phone. Any ideas please.

Go in and "unpair" the Bluetooth and then pair it back up. When I go back and forth from my cell and my work cell something similar happens sometimes.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried pairing and un pairing plus deleting and starting again about 20 times now and whilst it pairs for 2 seconds it then disconnects straight after.

I must be honest and say that whilst a lot of Crossfire owners really rate this radio I personal don't like it at all. You can't read the screen during the day and you have to press a button five time to swap between radio and CD and three times to go back again and thats not five quick presses because if you do this it goes into another mode. Personally I think its dangerous trying to switch when driving.

When I contact the States where the radio was purchased they say contact Australia where I live, when I contact Australia they say contact the States. I mentioned I thought it was a world wide warranty and they tell me no. Typical.....

I think I will have to cut my losses and dump this 9 month old Kenwood and get something else.
