Looks good . do you have pics of how you installed it ?
on a Baffle or boxed ?

I like the srt-6 branded woofer ,cool.
is it a kicker?
I am toying with the idea of replacing the factory subs with a pair of those 8s in the factory locations.
Why did you go for 1 sub at the back instead ?
anyways nice one.

If he is still around, would like to know if there was a box built behind, or if it is just being used as a free air sub with no box?
And if it is a free air how it sounds or if it rattles anything back there to where it can be heard from the outside?
I have 2 skar vvx 8's in a sealed box, the tripple stacked magnets gets lots of xmax, but no rattles heard from outside.

I'd like to get more details too. ( How they sound, if things rattle, more details on installation )

That is a free air sub install, only do if you have a sub made for free air, probably the flap at the bottom will rattle around.

I have a mb quart 1200 X2 ab amplifier powering 2 skar 8" vvx subs in a sealed box and I get no rattles, with it turned up and loaded a frequency test, and outside the silverfox.

Depends on what you are looking for for sound, just to hear the lows clear, want the feel or wanting massive air movement.

I just finished up my componets this evening will post on another thread.

I do alot of driving and like listening to my slacker and wanted to hear all frequencies clearly, and if I get tired give more to the subs and keep me awake.

With the box I still have room for all my luggage and can't see the luggage in the rear view mirror.
