Top Control Module Replacement
Top Control Module Replacement
Does the Top Control Module have to be "programmed", "initialized" or some other dealer only procedure after replacement. I bought a SRT Roadster knowing that the top wouldn't go down. The Top Control Module has been replaced with one that is known to work correctly. I suspect that the module is not being recognized and therefore will not operate the top. By the way, the donor car received the one from my car and now the top won't work on the donor car.
I have researched the service manual, but it only addresses replacement with a new module, not a used one. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
