Default rear window

Anyone have their rear window of their Crossfire 2005 repaired by Chrysler for nothing here in Australia? I took mine to Chrysler on the Gold Coast and they said I need to replace the whole top (even though mine is like new) and it would be at my cost, I tried the argument that it has been done for nothing by Chrysler in America and was told that as my car is no longer under warranty it would not be able to be done

Australia equals standard 3 year warranty, I have enough trouble just getting parts.

that's what the local guy charged to do it. he just stuck where it had come off and ran a bead around where it was still attached. If it happens again I will remove the whole top and do it flat. he done it with the top still on and propped the glass using foam.

Novus Windscreens glued mine back in foe $375 and it lasted 2yrs.
I just bought a new top with window from ebay USA for $985 ($1,200 AUD).
The local dealership quoted me $6,100 for the same top and I still have to pay somebody to fit the thing.
