2013 -C-I-C-C-I Nominations for Officers - Deadline June 15th

If your interested or like to nominate someone please do so by logging into the following page on our forum**
2013 CICCI Elections
2013 is Election Year at CICCI, and it is time for the Members to submit their nominations for officers to be elected to the Board of Directors.
As a member of the club, you have the right to nominate a fellow member to one of the offices.
You may self-nominate, but you must include a brief summary stating why you should be elected to the position, your qualifications to perform the duties listed below and your willingness to serve your term of office.
Once nominated, the nominee must accept the nomination to be placed on the ballot.
All nominees must currently be members in good standing and remain so for the duration of their term in office.
All Founding and elected Officers must attend each monthly Board meeting (via conference call.)
List of Offices and Description of Duties:
President/Chairman
· Accountable and accessible to all CICCI members
· Delegates, directs club policy in accordance with the club bylaws and mission statement
· Ensures all tasks assigned to the board members, committees, advisors are completed in a timely manner
· Serves as the club spokesperson to the media and other Crossfire Forums
· Countersigns checks with the Secretary of the club
· Submits Annual Report
· Chairs monthly meeting in absence of meeting chair or designee
· Is responsible for the overall administrative, financial and social well-being of the club
Executive Vice President/Member Services
· In the absence of the President or his/her inability or refusal to act the Executive VP will have all the powers and responsibilities of the President/CEO
· Responsible for all facets of membership
· Maintains P.O. Box and bank deposits for mail in members and PayPal applications in a timely manner
· Contact person via internet for membership questions
· Forwards new member info to the Secretary/CICCI Store Mgr. for processing
· Maintains the club roster
· Point person for various chapters
· Sends out club renewals in conjunction with the club secretary
· Helps develop member growth by posting personal invites at other related web sites.
· Reports on membership trends and growth at the monthly Board meetings
Secretary
· Ensures records of the organization are maintained as required by law and made available when required by authorized persons
· Countersigns checks with the President/CEO
· Responsible for processing incoming/outgoing club correspondence
· Is the person upon whom legal notice of the Corporation is served
· Ensures that documents necessary to maintain the Corporation are filed including tax returns and other legal documents pursuant to the organization
· Records the Monthly Board meeting notes
· Registered agent with respect to the laws of the jurisdiction
Vice President/Business Relations
· Responsible for maintaining the presence of CICCI with all existing vendors and seeks out new affiliations with the automotive industry that may have a positive affect/influence/association on the club
· Presents updates on the club's business ventures, plans and strategies for expanding sponsorship, tie-ins with our club
· Works closely with all committees and Board of Directors
· Helps VP/Member Services develop new member growth
· Helps CICCI maintain a high visibility at the industry level
Treasurer
· Keeps accurate, daily financial records and bank accounts of the club
· Responsible for quarterly and yearly budgets for the club and updates its quarterly with actual income and expenses
· Closely monitors all spending
· Reports on clubs financial standing at monthly Board meeting
· Helps set budget for various club activities and monitors such
· Works closely with Secretary to make sure the club is operating financially sound and meeting club objectives

2013 Election Procedure:
Nominations must be posted in this thread, on the CICCI club website and accepted before June 15, 2013.
Ballots will be mailed in mid-June to all members in good standing.
Ballots must be returned by July 31, 2013.
Announcement of the new Officers will be made following the August meeting of the Board of Directors.
