Default A suggestion for members to help make the forum more user friendly

I would like to suggest that everyone update their profile information to show at least some basic information like your age and where you live (where you live is not USA or Ohio but should be at least your city and state). Also set up a signature for your posts to at least show the type of vehicle you own (Crossfire coupe or roadster / SRT6, Limited, Special Edition, base model, etc).

To update your profile go to to the upper left of any forum page and click on "User CP" then "Edit your details".

To create a signature click on "User CP" then under "settings and options" click on "Edit Signature".

Having this basic information showing on your posts will make the forum a bit more user friendly and allow responders to your posts to know a little bit about who you are, where you are and what type of vehicle you own.

RED DOG: Agree 100%... I also would add: your given NAME...(it's just a personal thing...I"m really a name person)... after all , is it really necessary to be incognito?...Carl

Just talking!!

I have no problem with a given name, I already know many of the members given names.

Agree Red Dog - good idea.

While we're making suggestions, I'd like to suggest that the name of the thread that you start should actually be the highlight of your subject. For instance, instead of writing "New Member - Need Help!!", I would suggest "I have a light on my dash that I don't understand" or "My car has a burning oil smell". By doing it that way, you might stand a better chance of one of the experts chiming in AND when new members go searching, they can read the title and see if it pertains to their problem.

Just a thought - RL

Click on the title related to your post and click on the "New Thread" button in the upper L/H side of the screen. A box will open up where you can post your message. It should be the same way you posted here but under the category related to your actual post. If you wish to add a phote click on the paperclip icon next to the happy face.

I have a question, are you in Ontario?
Look at the main page CLICK and then look for the sub forum that covers your question.

No sweat, I have answered posts and hit the wrong button or something and later realized that I had added nothing to the thread.
