2005 Crossfire for sale
2005 Crossfire for sale
I have a black 2005 Crossfire for sale. Car has been flooded in deep water, has new tires and great body parts. Engine is locked up and electronics have been wet. All the glass is in tact. Not sure what the car is worth.
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
I do not want to part the car out, I would like to sell it as is to someone who can use it.
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
It is a SRT6 and a coupe. I hope to post some pictures soon, it is my grandson's car, i guess he thought is would work like a boat. It did not!
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
Yea, it's not submersible.
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
There are miles of wiring in an SRT6..... If not too bad, it might be a candidate for a V8 swap.. How long was it under water? Was it salt water?
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
The car is not an srt6, it is a 2005 crossfire coupe. if I can get them to post, here are some pictures of the car.
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
I can not open the pics.
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
It was fresh water from a hard rain.
Re: 2005 Crossfire for sale
Wish you lived closer, I'd pick that up in a heartbeat since I'm looking for a good v8 donor and gut job.
Was it covered under insurance? They would pay out more than selling whats left - although I hate seeing cars go to scrappers.
Flood Damaged Crossfires usually go for 700-1500 on insurance auctions (before fees), so I wouldn't expect anyone to pay much more than that. Water damage scares away many since potentially everything could be damaged and not worth the salvage...
Still I wish I didn't live so far away, it would be perfect for what I want to do.
