kinda similar lines...
Re: kinda similar lines...
Interesting, isn't it? See my post from June 17th at https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...50&postcount=6
The auto buying public is indeed fickle. The Cayman is white hot, and the Crossfire is quite cold -- even though the vehicles are aesthetically comparable and the SRT6 is more powerful than the Cayman S. And the dual exhausts somehow seem more pleasing than the single pipe, too.

Too true, and a "cayman" is defined as "[a]ny of various tropical American crocodilians of the genus Caiman and related genera, resembling and closely related to the alligators." A "crossfire," on the other hand, is defined as "a lively or heated interchange of ideas and opinions." Even a sheep might prefer the latter.

A friend of mine was selling a car at the LA Antique Auto Show and Swap Meet a little over a week ago. They also had an area for exotics and specifically for Porsche. When I pulled up to the parking entrance the attendant asked for $100 for entry. Amazed that others were paying $10, I asked why $100! As he walked from the side of the car to the rear He replied "...well, you're driving a Porsche aren't you?...OH...This is a Crossfire!...Sure looks like a Porsche. $10 please!..."
