Radio Issues
Radio Issues
Anyone else having problems with their radio switching stations on them? I have the infinity radio with the GPS, etc. and every so often, the station will just change on me. I read through the instruction book and it seemed to indicate that the traffic problem notifier is what causes this. I went in and turned that off, or so I think I did. This afternoon it up and changed on me again with it being turned off. It always goes to the same station and i'm finding it quite frustrating. Anyone else suffering from this? If so, has anyone found a way to make it stop?
Re: Radio Issues
There's been a few posts on this...

I have never experienced it, but I was wondering if perhaps these radios were set in "BEST FM" mode. In this mode the radio constantly updates its memory with FM stations in order of their signal quality. Try pressing the FM button until "FM 1" is displayed and see if the problem goes away.

I was thinking the same thing today when I first read the post. If it's on FM 1 or 2, then it has to be a radio problem and not operator problem.
