There is a strap that comes with the Touring Gear (luggage) that attaches to the gear on the one end and that **** on the other so the gear won't move around while driving. Thats what I've read here previously. Anyone agree/disagree?

You are correct...used for securing luggage.

There is also a security trunk cover option that's sold thru DC that unrolls like a window shade, I believe it attaches there too.
I was going to buy the security cover, but they sell for about $200 or more.

The cargo cover does not attach anywhere close to there.

I have a set of the luggage and have searched every compartment to find said strap. What does this strap look like? Does it have to do with the matching **** on the top of the large rolling bag?

It does. It is a strap about 6 - 8 in long with a flat plastic piece on one end and a circular plastic piece on the other. It can be used in several different ways. You can hook the flat piece to the **** in the cargo compartment and then hook the handle of the luggage in the circular piece to keep it from flopping around. You can also hook the flat piece on top of the rolling suitcase and then hook the handle of either of the other pieces into the circular piece and then roll away. Much easier than trying to balance bags on top to roll around and more secure as well. Hope you find the strap.

Here are some shots of the rear are screen as well as my next stump the band question. Now that this mystery has been solved what are the buttons or plugs in the passenger cabin behind the seats and about 7" above the speakers? We aren't hanging luggage there too?

Those buttons are NOT for the tonneau cover for the cargo area. I just installed mine - early birthday gift. There's also two buttons on the front side behind the seats. And I agree upstate, no luggage dangling up there.

Any idea what those are for? Its nice to have these neat built in features but it would be better if they explained them. Maybe to hang clothes on since there are no coat hooks?

Where did you get that great cargo area rug?

I had the rug made by Lloyds, they made mats too. The cover cost me $225 at my dealer which is less than the list of $299. The cargo mat was gotten here: http://www.usspeedonline.com/page/U/PROD/LM-300Trunk

My girlfriend took the luggage , but left the strap apparently. She says the case fits very nicely in her Lexus , matches in color. and needs no strao whatsover. So much for that....
although it is a very nice strap and works well when she is bent over the front fender...

Dual purpose. You can strap you gear down and they cover up bolts that hold together the interior pieces. (took the interior out for amp/sub install pics later).
