Key Fob Question
Re: Key Fob Question
Heh, good question (and good idea)! I had assumed that it had batteries, but maybe it doesn't. When I get home I will check, and if there is a battery then I will swap in the ones from the working fob and see what happens. If that doesn't work I guess I can take the fob to a dealer and see what's up.

Re: Key Fob Question
I don't know if this has anything to do with being able to start the car or just to open the doors but the owner's manual says...
"The system may have to be resynchronized if the transmitter (key fob) is without sufficient voltage for several minutes. To synchronize, aim the transmitter eye at the vehicle and briefly press either the lock or the unlock button twice. Within approximately 30 seconds, insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the ON/RUN position. The remote control should once again be operational."
