Default Tow Hook Cover Up

OK, so I asked the other day if the Rear Fascia diffusers would cover the ugly tow hook. After checking the gallery pic's the answer is a negative. Last night another New beetle owner on the forum and I both remembered a Tow Hook Cap that our New Beetle Turbos used to have. It was black plastic and simply slid over the hook and made it a little less obvious. Today I purchased VW part # 1CO-803-663-B41 a "Cap" for a grand total of $2.57 and with a very slight modification I think it makes the hook a lot less obvious. All you'll need to do is cut the flared end of the cap off where the flare begins. After this one straight cut across the cap it pops on the hook and kind of blends a little more discreetly. No biggie, but for you **** owners like myself you'll be out tomorrow morning at your VW dealers with plans for tomorrow night!

Will try but the location of the cover won't permit the best pic's. + I still haven't figured out how to upload pics and avatars etc.

As far as the photo goes, prop a flashlight up to showcase the spot you'd like to take a photo of and turn the flash off. Snap away.

I've noticed the same when uploading pics. Make sure the names of the files you are uploading don't have spaces in them, also try to keep the names short, 8-10 characters. It's just something I tried and it worked when I uploaded pics.
