It is always a pleasure to see those racing clips. It looks like you were able to keep up with the Elise and then some.

 

Derek, since your Crossfire is now a full race car, what is your everyday driver? And do you miss driving your Crossfire on the highways?

Good clip HDDP...but, is it just my computer or is it that in some clips the sound does not match the picture? Oh, and how was the Lotus modified?

 

You're right, half of the audio is from the outside camera and the other part is from my incar camera. I really haven't had a chance to finish editing it... We have hours of footage from the weekend. Unfortunately there were very few cars on the track so I don't have alot of good traffic and passing shots.

The Lotus had Ohlin race coilovers, DOT R track tires, and modified exhaust. That's pretty much it...

 

I bought a Toyota Tundra truck to haul the car to the track and also have an '04 WRX to beat around in. I hate the WRX though, it rides like a ROCK, must be all that suspension work I put into it... LOL

 

The hill behind the track looks like nasca lines ... or are they nascar?
