Finally a decent size video clip.
Very nice HDDP. Just watching this clip pumps me up. Now I got to go back and see 2 other versions.

Can't wait to see it, but for some reason, I am getting a really slow speed and I don't have anything else downloading. Oh well, I love My Crossfire and my all time favorite car is an Elise, so I will sit here for 3 hours to download this video.

Yes. I run some tracks in No. Cal once or twice a year. Usually hit Infineon, Thunderhill in Sacramento and Laguna Seca at least once per year...

Glad you liked the video... The poor guy in the Lotus wasn't very happy though... LOL

Thumbs up Re: Crossfire vs. Elise Video

Derek, Great video, EXCELLENT RACING! Too bad you didn't have a camera inside the Lotus to catch the expression on the guy's face as you pass him.

Nice job!!! Cool video and it's nice to see the "RaceFire" out in front. One question... your car is modified and stripped down to fighting weight, how is the Elise set up, stripped or still in factory form?

He was still running with a factory interior, but that equates to a 1:10 power to weight ratio. 190 hp 1,984 lbs. Since I'm unable to perform a full rpm dyno test (only to 5,000 rpm) I could almost assume based on the performance against the Elise that my car is now running about the same P/W ratio, which weighs in at 2,640 lbs. In theory this would put the flywheel HP at 260.

Only a rough math estimate based on performance. Lots of variables though. Driver, tires, etc.

I can only get sound. Quicktime Player tells me that a compressor is missing. I checked with their website and I have all available updates. Realplayer has a white screen but no messages. Does anyone have any suggestions?

it's the H264 codec for Quicktime... Perhaps you need a new version of QT... Sorry Guys it probably isn't available for PC's yet...

Feh! It works just fine on a PC with a reasonably current version of Quicktime as well as several flavors of Unix. Yeah, I've been showing it to lots of friends. Got a problem with that?

AWESOME video. Upgrading from Quicktime version 6.5.2 to 7.1 was the answer. Thank you HDDP.
