Found something from the US on my crossfire!
Thought it was about time that I did something about a couple of stone chips on my crossfire. So off I trundle to buy some touchup paint from the dealer...
It turns out that UK Chrysler dealers are no longer allowed to buy paint for the crossfire due to it being so toxic that it is destroying the planet.
Yet another wonderful EU directive?
Anyway I managed to get some touchup made up at a specialist shop from the paint code.
I assume no one is worried about this in the US?

Re: Found something from the US on my crossfire!
Why would DC (or Karmann) use paint from the US? I imagine that it is the same paint they use there in Germany, where the cars were actually painted. If it is an EU thing, then it would not make sense that you cannot get it over there, since Germany is in the EU. I wouldn't be surprised if it were just PPG, even some Benz colors. I have nothing to complain about, mine's black, you can always get black.
