Autoweek just came...thanks Chrysler
Autoweek just came...thanks Chrysler
In the 25 Sep 06 issue of Autoweek, a Chrysler executive allegedly told a VW exec, when asked what Chrysler was going to do with all of the left over Crossfires... "I'm not sure. I think any day now we are going to start launching them into North Korea."
The statement is accompanied by a photo of an F-16 "launching" a Crossfire. It's on the last page of the issue in, "But Wait There's More."
Thanks Chrysler...our resale value should be somewhere in the neighborhood of the Titanic. Or, lower then Whale excrement.
And, you wonder why you have trouble selling your cars. Couldn't be because of all the positive feedback you give your customers, could it?

On this note the service manager got into my Crossfire to go for a test drive. About 3/4 through the ride he said "Don't you have a new 300C?" I said yes he then said and you are driving this?
Wow great support. If the dealership is wondering why I would drive this car what is the competing saying? I love the car but wow.

And what does everyone think is going to happen when the '07 models come out and they try and get the old full sticker price? Who in there right mind would walk into a dealership and buy a new one at even invoice after the latest round of pricing? They should shave $5,000 off the sticker, actually make that the sticker and then start the negotiations there. Then they will sell. I think anyone paying 40K is just not likely. I'll wait till 2008 and buy a left over '07 for 25K. What are your thoughts?
