Die-cast Crossfires
Die-cast Crossfires
As I was walking through Wal-Mart earlier today (went in to buy Zymol) I decided to look through the die-cast cars looking for a Crossfire roadster. I had seen 1:32 scale and 1:24 scale coupes but had never seen a roadster. However, what I did find today was a Hot Wheels Chrysler Firepower Concept - 2006 First Editions 14 of 38. Does this mean that Chrysler may be giving the attention to the Firepower that the Crossfire never received? Has anyone ever seen a Crossfire roadster die-cast miniature?

I have access to some silver (I know there haven't been silver Xfires) and metallic red coupes in 1/32 in their official Chrysler boxes. Let me know if you are interested. They cost $10 and S&H is $5. Let me know if you are interested soon as they are in short supply.
Here is a picture of the red one.

Right now all I could find was silver and red, but I will keep looking and let everyone know.

I bought it at a place called Traders World, it was 19.95. The Girl there told me they came out about 3 months ago.

It looks good on a desk or just on display.

I got one from DC after I submitted a story to them for their magazine, along with some wonderful other little goodies as a thank you and its quite cute. While not very detailed, nor the color of my car, its the thought that counts.
While I am not a collector, I'll keep it (its packed up in a box somewhere in storage because it does not fit into my female decor).

I found one of the New Ray 1/32 Crossfires in SSB this weekend at Big Lots for $3. I got the only one they had at the store I went to.
I also have one of the Motor Max 1/18 Crossfires. I don't think it is as nice as some of the American Muscle 1/18 scale cars that I have, but for the price I would say it's pretty good. My main complaint is that the back glass doesn't sit flush, but sticks up above the hatch.
