Black Stern ST-1's on Alabaster Coupe
Black Stern ST-1's on Alabaster Coupe
Just got my rims and tires put on. A note to anyone wanting these rims:
1. Shorter bolts are required for the back wheels. Using the stock bolts will cause them to poke through and scrape the e-brake, making moving your car very difficult and loud (made a god-awful clicking noise, luckily the car was only moved 6 inches).
2. The stock center caps will not fit over the front hubs. To remedy this problem, I painted the hubs with a high temp chrome paint. I think the finish looks wonderful.

Blade, Looks great. It would be nice to be able to see the details of the wheels. It is very difficult to see what the wheels look like form above pics. I see you even blacked out the side markers (rear), too. Cool. Now what happened to the fog lights?

Thanks for the advice andrew.

Here is another picture that may show the rim alittle better. Unfortunately the lighting sucked and the black rims were really covered by shadow. This picture also shows the mopar rear valence add-ons.
Also, andrew, did you install anything else suspension-wise, or just the springs? Will the stock equipment hold up with the aftermarket springs installed?

the full suspension set-up truly compliments the car imo.
many have added just lowering springs... and the factory shocks will work just fine.

Excellent. Thanks for the info on the center cap situation and the springs.
I think the pro-kit will be the next item to be ordered. On a side note, will the rear bump - stops have to be trimmed by 20mm with the pro-kit as the description on tire rack claims?
