Default Anybody use seat covers?

I'd like to get some seat covers for daily use. That I can take off when I have a date or whatever. My friend has some on his Ferrari that I like but he doesn't know where to get them as they came with his car.
They are simple they slip over the seat back and lie over the seat bottom almost like a slip cover for a chair.
They go on and off in seconds and are made up of light weight nylon in silver.
Anyone have any idea where to find something like that? Or perhaps suggestions/recommendations on seat covers?

Matt

Try autoanything.com or California Car Cover. I've never gotten the light fabric covers only sheepskins but thats not an on/off application. They're wonderful but you leave them on. If that interests you go to Rocky Mountain Sheepskin Company. As long as you don't have the white interior I would think with weekly maintenance the seats shouldn't get dirty. If its for protection of the left side bolster thats another story. But with careful entries and exits thats been fine too. Enjoy your ride. I love it more and more every time I drive it.

Yeah I'm afraid my side bolster is getting a bit worn. I might have to get a seat cover too, unless I find a decent suede sparco street style seat to replace the drivers. I just don't want that goofy 2 fast and furious look in the XF, that's just gay.

Do you think seat covers will prevent the wear creases in the leather? I thought those were from the material flexing not friction, am I wrong?

I bought some inexpensive Winplus "TypeS" universal fit bucket seat covers at an automotive store. They're two tone gray and black and don't look too bad in the Crossfire. They don't fit perfectly but they protect the seats well. I don't have any scuff marks on my seat bolsters, and the creases are minimal. In the long run they may even help keep the seats from drying out and cracking or from fading.

Here's a link to the ones that I have though there are many different covers out there that will fit:

I've pondered something to protect the side bolster. It's beginning to show just a bit of wear.

My seats are "like new" so I just want to keep them that way. I work outside for my job and my clothing gets dusty and I just want to keep that off the seats.

The lightweight covers at Auto anything might be worth checking out and priced right too...

Thanks,

Matt

I also bought the two tone gray seat cover. Hopefully it will stop the rubbing on the drivers bolster. My car was a lease before I got it, so it had a little rub on the bolster to begin with. Hope the seat cover prevents any further wear.

Yeah Matt, my grandparents use plastic covers for their sofa and loveseat. I can fedex them to you.
