Default Four months with our Crossfire and we still LOVE it!

This car has been awesome! We've had several sports cars before this and this car is our favorite. We've taken it on several long trips and it's a blast. Cruise at 90-100 easy and it's dead quiet and smooth as glass.

I just learned the fog light pull out from another thread. I've been looking all over for them. Dealer lost our manual.

We get compliments all the time and people always want to know what it is.

We've put about 3K miles on the car and I'm just wondering what the deal is with the oil??

Chuck'd,
Congrats on your XF, I've had mine just about the same amount of time, and it's been terrific. I wanted to know specifically what you meant about the oil..."what is the deal with the oil". What do you mean specifically?

Well I did some research last night after posting this and found out the deal with the oil changes. We have no lights coming on yet and the dealer told us they had performed the service on it when it came in. It was an Exec car from Chrysler so I imagine it the services were done correctly. I just keep waiting for that light to pop on telling me to run for a $150 dollar oil change! Haha.

Congrats on your car. I've only had mine for a bit over two months, and can't seem to get enough of it.
Don't expect to see a service light for another 4K miles. The service interval is 7K miles as it uses Mobil One oil, and 8 qts. at that. Hence the high oil change cost.

you'll see a number of threads on this. the oil change is easily done yourself. if you do go to a dealer, I think closer to $100+ is right for the change, but please do read those posts about volume, type of oil and the proper filters.

See you already got answers on the oil.
I have had my crossfire for over a year and I still smile when I look at it.
