Default Seat Heaters

The seat heaters on my xfire only heat the back section of the my seats. Should the butt section of the seats heat up also? I would think both should heat up...

Thanks.

~ your lower seat heater has failed.

this will require the replacement for the seat foam, seat heater and lower leather seat cover.

lets hope your crossfire is still under warranty... this is a costly repair.

Ok, that's what I thought. My 3 year 36 ends in December so I am still ok there. My passenger seat is the same way. Was there a recall or just a TSB for this problem? Do they change the back portion out too if only the butt portion isn't functioning? I'm just concerned that the new portion wouldn't match in color to the old portion of the seat.

Thanks for your help.

They only replace what is not working. Any unfortunately you may have the problem again...
Also for the lower they replace the material as the heater is stitched in for the back they only replace the element.
I am looking into an aftermarket solution to fix them and keep them working.
Best of luck.

My butt heater is broken, too. I'm planning on taking it to the dealer when I find time.
