Default New windshield

Well I had the new windshield put in today. First thing I asked was "Have you done one of these before?" The guy was honest and said he had assisted with one, but never changed one himself. We started with the windshield frame. He looked a little perplexed until I showed him the pictures I printed from the forum. With that, he got the trim off no problem. I also showed him the pictures of the plastic panel under the hood, and again he had no problem. He was actually very thankful. The actual changing of the glass he had no trouble with and the re-install of the pieces went smoothly. Only had one problem. He could not unscrew the rear view mirror out of the old mount. It was as if the plastic had welded itself. Probably due to the heat in Florida. He had to order a new mirror, at his cost, but other than that all went well. Thanks again to all the posts on the forum. It made everything go a lot smoother.
