Default Nankang NS-II Tires. Yes or No?

Any of you use Nankang NS-II tires on your xfire? They are cheap in price but are supposed to be for sport vehicles like ours. Give me your take on this brand of tires.

I just bought new wheels, (TSW Snetterton's) and was going to get these exact same tires. I liked the tread design on these, but my tire guy made be a great deal on the new Hankook K110's, (new for 2008), evos I think there called. But I do like the looks of the NS2!

I put them on last month.
So far so good. Great tread design, not too noisy and they really grip the road.

My brothers uncle knows this tire guy and these tires are $%**#! Most people have never heard of Nankang NS-2 tires. They don't know that these tires are made by the oldest and largest tire company in Taiwan. You here so much "bad press" from people that have never tried these tires and I guess it's to be expected about any thing that is new or foreign to us. My 04 needed new tires. The Conti's were about gone in the back so I started looking for replacements. All Weather tires are exspensive for this car and if I were to put them on I'd go with the Yokohamas.[Advan 4, I believe.] These two tires would cost as much as 4 Nankang tires. I decided to go with the NS-2 tires. [on all 4 .] These tires are summer tires with a mud and snow rating. Many places list them as A/W tires. Not the case. These are the newest breed of summer tires that can handle some snow. First off they are the smoothest and most quiet tire I've ever run. They stick so much better than the Conti's that it's hard to believe your driving the same car. Summer tires usually flat spot and thump when cold until they warm up. These have yet to flat spot. The tires are so quiet and smooth that I can here some rear end whine over 70 mph. Cost is a realitive term. To me it's the cost of the tires, shipping, taxes and monting and balancing.....plus tip! I put stock sizes up front and 275/30/19 on the rear. Total cost including $10..00 tip was $556.73. [I shop hard on the internet.]

Who should use these tires: Anyone wanting a screaming deal that drives up to 7-8 tenths on the street. I would not recommend these for the track guys. The side walls are to soft. Phew, rant over..........

my advice: fvck all of those sh1tty brands and unknown unknowns, eveb fvck the oem conti's, the best tyres for our car are the michellin sport 2 pilots, they are the smoothest, quietest, best traction and have a solid side wall so they even own on track, please guys, save up, its worth it, i paid £230 for EACH tyre, thats like $450+ ^_^ (thats the price without balancing, fitting, tip etc../cry)
