Just last week while driving in DC, I was avoiding one pothole and drove into another. Now I have a crack in my front driver rim .

I read somewhere, that in my area, the neglected repair of roads needing $150 million dollars of deferred maintenance end up costing drivers annually over $570 million in repairs directly caused by these roads. Just think how many other drivers nailed that same pothole you hit and wiped out a rim or tire as well.

Somewhere an repair shop owner is whistling to the bank with these kind of stats.

Read this link and you'll really cry if you are in one of these cities

I hit a pothole hard enough to bend the SRT rim and caused a slow leak on the right front inside of the rim. Used a block of wood and a mallet to straighten it out and it never leked again.

I must say it lossened my teeth when I hit it.
