Why is this not a sticky? Is it stored somewhere else too? It's always hard to find

I even broke out the SE's for those that are interested. Even though the 2004s didn't have different trim levels I categorized them as LIMITED as they are close to the 2005 Limited configuration.

If there is decent interest in a COLOR and/or TRANSMISSION chart, I would consider pulling these together to share.

For those who don't know of my work, GOOGLE "PLMCRZY production numbers" and click on the images tab to see some of my work.

If you have specific questions, feel free to contact me directly (my email is embedded in the Chart Image)

WOW This is great! I don't know how I missed this thread information until now.

One of my Crossfires is a Special Edition. I thought I would never know this information about it.

Many Thanks PLMCRZY

So were a bit over 75,000 in five model years That beats the heck out of 22,000 Reattas in 4 model years.

Except for my tow car (DOHC 6/4wheel disks/All independent suspension/front and rear sway bars) none of my cars had high production (one was single digit) Really one of the nicer things about the Crossire is that all kinds of parts are available and easy to get.

I've been told that the SRT-6 Roadster was only built in 2005. Is that true?

There are some 2006 models out there, if they were made in 2005 I would not know. We would have to look at the door label to know for sure.

Seen quite a few around here.

Does anyone actually know if the manufacture of the cars were actually sequential? Were some numbers skipped, or did they not skip at all?

.

Those #s add up to 83,005....& you don't list the 1,800 or so 2008s ?....Do the vehicles sold outside of the USA have VIN #s like those sold in the USA?...If so....why would our 2008 with a VIN # 76,028 & built in the last week of production....be a number so far from the 83,005 you list....which doesn't include the 2008s? I'm pretty sure they couldn't have built another 5,000-7,000 in that last week....

If you were building a car I would think it would have to have a number so it got all the parts specified for that particular vehicle. At times some cars probably had to be pulled from the line for some reason. So some cars reached the end of the line out of sequence but it probably had the correct date and time of manufacture.

Why get hung up on figures from Wiki when we have official manufacturing figures, showing colour, roadster, coupe etc.

Thanks 180. So, 180's official #s add up to 76,020 total.....I assume another 28 were original test mules never sold to the public....as Wilma's vin is 76,028 and I think the last vin was 76,048.
