Default Heated seat fault

Hi there,

Not been on here for a while so apologies for that.
Anyway my base heater has stopped working on my drivers seat and wondered what the repair was for this.
I know a lot of people had problems with this in the past but I think the car was normally still under warranty.
I was wondering if you can just replace the element or would it be cheaper trying to get a new set from a breakers?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Norrie.

Do a search on the forum.
There is a repair kit - but depending on what the problem is it may not fix it.
Look at these attachments.
Initially I did the repair using the Chrysler repair kit and that worked for a year, then when it failed again the same repair did not work so I installed an aftermarket heater.

Were you able to use the OEM switches with the aftermarket kit? I'd like to go the carbon fiber ones, but don't want to lose the OEM controls...
