Cup Holder Confusion

Other than price/year, what is the difference between these two parts?

04 - 05 $81.19
2005 Chrysler Crossfire Console - Parts.com

06 - 08 $129.95

It makes me wonder if the 04- 05 is the plastic slot rather than the cup-holder.

The storage cup was only around $35......don't know.

I hope this helps-
My dad's '04 counsel has a gloss finish to it, my '07 is a flat finish. That is the difference I think.

If your looking for a cup holder, I had my center counsel replaced & have the cup holder.

Yes that's true. But the car does have a Vegamatic that shreds styrofoam. From a different perspective, it has a great coffee dispenser that only lacks an "off" valve.
