It would be great if Creator would post here commenting on his experiences of the "trials and tribulations" on how the concept Crossfire was morphed into the production Crossfire.

 

I'm not sure if I like the front and back widows but jeez, what a beautiful car. If it had gone to production I may have bought two!

 

Honestly, I like the side SO much more than the current sides of the Crossfire, and might even go as far as to say I like the back more, too. And the back of the production XF is may favorite part of the car.

It's just such a bold looking car. So nice. I feel like the concept car would have cost 10-15 K more. The interior is an upgrade...

 

this concept car looks good, why doesn't Chrysler bring THIS into production and resell it as a new 2012-2013 fire?

 

Does anybody know where I can find infomation on all the critical demensiions of the Crossfire Concept.?
Like hight. weight. width, wheelbase, front and rear track, ect.

Much like many here, where the Crossfire Concept Car by "Eric Stoddard" started the Love affair we all share for our Crossfires.
Here's a little video of the car that got the fires burning in me 47 years ago when it first appeared on the cover of Motor Trend Magazine.

My ship; The USS Intrepid CVA11 is now a museum. It is fitting that my Car, Chrysler Crossfire is now in one too. Gary. USN.

Yes it is but it is now closed to the public and only private events are held there

 

Is this a temporary or permanent thing?

 

Unfortunately this is a permanent closing to the public
Apparently it had to do with financial losses operating the museum and it closed over a year ago to the public

 

That's ashame.


I took my daughter in when we were back up in MI for a funeral. I think it was `09.

 

I wonder if we can get a group available next year for a event, like at Woodward?

 

In 2010 the Crossfire was put out especially for us to see, as it normally was not out on display. A year or so later it was not out so we could not see it.
Naturally we all sat in it as we were allowed to.
