so.. i was at the car wash with HTTP410 this morning when another crossfire pulled up. Yep, two (16 & 17 year old) kids with a black & silver XFire with new spinner wheels & a digital video navigation system.... makes me sick................

Isn't it just like when you hose down the car with a high pressure thing at the do-it-yourself places... you still have to use the brush to get the dirt off?
vegas, i am not upset... just didnt know if you were joking around or not..see, im smiling  what it is, is, you pull your car in the wash bay,it has an automatic machine that goes through the various steps, depending on what level wash you get, and runs around your car. even has a bottom blaster when you first pull in to clean underneath the car. it is high pressure. really does a good job.
 Wish we had one of those here. We are not even allowed to wash our own cars in our driveway. We have to go to a car wash. And the ones where you use the "wands" just don't do the job. Maybe I'll have to start inquiring here to see if anyone knows if there is one here like that. Thanks
Touchless car washes
Here in Arizona we too have a FEW touchless car washes but not as many as I'd like to see made available.
I use them all the time for all 4 of our cars since I don't want to scratch the paint on any of them. They do work if the vehicles isn't too dirty but they certainly aren't designed to clean a really dirty car. They don't do too good a job of removing hard bug splatters that have baked on the finish for a few days.
I often use the touchless carwash then go over the car with the Armor All Car Wash wipes I posted about a few days ago. Then the car is clean and looks good with no scratches or streaks. I also use some of the new Streak FREE (Armor All) Glass Wipes for the windows. They too are great.

It's far from ghetto... It is a NAV computer that you can NEVER get lost with... plus it makes long driving trips EVEN better (I know its hard to get better then just you and xfire) but it really does make it nice to watch a movie or something in the back ground keeps ya awake!
huh?
Watching a movie 'in the background' while you're driving? Keeps you awake? How 'bout it takes your attention away from driving! In many states it is illegal for TV screens showing VCR/DVD/Broadcast signals to be in view of the driver for that very reason.
Back to the drug lord car...I think DC itself started down that road with the illuminated sill plates.
