Default Buying a XF. Need opinions. Thx

What do you think?
05 XF SRT-6 Roadster w/Navi and 10K on the clock. New condition. $21K.
Go or no-go?

The forum has no opinions today? Maybe that's a good thing.

Here's mine: KBB lists the car at $20,875. It's the color I want so I probably shouldn't quibble over $125.
There's currently a quantity of low-mileage SRT-6 Roadsters for sale in the US but this one is near a large airport and readly accessable.

I'm picking up the phone.

I think only you can answer that question. Whatever you feel comfortable paying is what you should pay. I wish I were in the position to buy another SRT with low milage so I say go for it. Roadster are harder to come by and that's why I bought mine when I had the chance. It was the color that I was looking for so I jumped on it. I flew to OK and picked it up and drove it back.

Was that at a dealer north of Tulsa in the last year or 2? I was talking with the guy about that one, doddled a little too long and it was gone. Looked like a great car though.

Beep, this is completely OT, but where in Kingwood do you live? If you want to share. I grew up in Mills Branch. Graduated KHS before all the shenanigans about KPark happened.

If you see a Black SRT Coupe running around there after May 1st...it is most likely me. I will be moving back to Houston at the end of April, but most living up near the Beltway for a bit.

Back on topic...congrats, can't wait to see it. I hope you get the modding bug...if you don't you should drive mine or mag's, then you will have it.

EDIT: Where are you flying to...if for some reason it is to NJ, let me know and I will meet up with you...just saying.

I live right next to KP but am unaware of any problems with it. I've lived here since 11/2009. MN got too dang cold.

There was a fairly active XF club in Houston but not sure how it's going these day's. I'ld be thrilled to meet up with any other XF owners.

I bought mine at a Chrysler dealer called Battison Auto group.

It's home and what a ride. 225 miles of perma-smile driving. The only problems are the tire pressure lite is on and the back window is beginning to serarate. He had the warranty papers for the window as it was purchased in Texas so that will go in next week.

Too tired to do pictures right now. Time for a nap.

It's a Texas thang. I've noticed the car has a deeper exhaust note than my na had. The other thing is with the na I could pretty much floor it whenever I wanted but with the SRT, I need to know what's going on a 1/4 mile ahead because it's there in no time. I found this out last nite. It's a good thing the car corners well. lol

Sooo glad to be back in the XF. Did you know these cars have their own smell? I think it's a unique mixture of leather and plastic. It's like reuniting with an old friend.
