Default Xfire reliability?

I've signed up for a new Xfire (Auto, graphite)

Are there any reliability issues?

4 months, just under 4000 miles, no reliability issues, has popped out of first on four occasions (manual). Love it to bits.

Had mine a year now and no issues of consequence.

Had the dim radio (only in earlier models) traded out. Had a rattle removed from rear deck (adjustment of slides).

I felt it was quick enough but I wanted a bit more so I had it chipped and switched to K&N filters. I plan I replacing exhaust once I make up my mind as to which one I want.

Brake dust is annoying and my fix will most likely be partial ceramic brake pads. That's next on my list.

But, back to your question, from my perspective, very reliable.

I had problems with my transmission, but that was a known risk when I bought a 2004 6 sp. Other than that, I haven't had any problems.

I've had mine 2 months, and have not had a problem. Except my wife is rubbing the paint
off from washing it so much!

I've had mine since September 6, 2003 and have had 20,000+ trouble free miles.

20K Miles.

Had plenty of little issues at first, but those were things it came with (many of the above fall into the same category as I read down). But, they are not really "reliability" issues, if you ask me. Reliability is, if it worked correctly from the beginning and keeps working.

Only things I've had break that were okay at the beginning:

Passengar (Interior) Door Handle broke loose. But, the techs had been inside that door over a dozen times before it happened, so it might be their fat fingers not really a break.

Also, my lighter seems to be going. (Going to report it next oil change). Sticks in (heating) and I have to pry it out rather forcefully, other times it just doesn't get hot and I have to press it in three or four times to get a light.

Everything else I've had was a problem from day-one (early car stuff: Radio, Tranny, Wind Noise, Inexperienced Technicians), or caused by physical damage (Rocks, Groundhogs, and Inexperienced technicians).
