Have been a lurker until today
I have been lurking on the site for some time, however I purchased a 2k4 SSB autostick today. The dealer has promised to have it detailed and delivered to me next Tuesday. My vin is 4991. I have noticed that tehre have been several TSB's issued. Is there any that I need to be concerned with?
Welcome and Congrats!!! Glad to see you picked the "best" color.
There are not too many issues with the Auto-Stick. Check here for TSB's and what you may expect: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=21

Great for you!!!
Believe it or not I was just checking the milage from Phoenix to Anchorage... 3,600 miles or so. The route takes me through Calgary which I've been to one time in the middle of winter... brrrrr. Have you ever traveled the road north into Alaska, if so do you have comments or advice???
Thanks

Hey, call the dealership and tell them you don't want them using any sort of power buffer when they detail. Some folks (mostly with black cars) have had issues with the Crossfire's paint/clear coat and swirls. If you're a car nut like a lot of us, you might want to have them just give it a good hand washing and a quick vaccuum and let you take it from there.
To AZ, in response to your question about the trip to Alaska. I have never done it and I don't know anyone who has. I would not recommend taking the Crossfire on the trip though. Too many long stretches of nothing and not a tire shop for hundreds of miles!! As Calgary has the luxury of having the Rocky Mountains only about an hour away, most will head west for vacation. As you mentioned about the cold in the winter going North isn't usually an option. I perfer to vacation in the winter in Cuba.
