Default How many of you leave the wing up or down?

I have left mine up as I feel it completes the back end look (in my opinion), besides less wear and tear on the little motor can only be good ... right? It is a fun toy to play with when people are checking out the car though (I know ... I know = I'll probably wear out the little motor playing with it)

auto mode - if it is up when it does not need to be than i feel it is like putting a useless wing on a car...

When I'm up front at a set of lights I like to raise it as to let others behind me that I mean business.

I wanted to say that!

Except - when my husband is following me in the other car, I "wave" good bye to him when I turn into my building and he continues on.

I like to have it in auto mode. I get many comments on how good it looks, but all agree that it is a bit silly to have it up all of the time.

It actually is kind of goofy looking. I know we are biased to love it, but looking at it objectively does raise questions on how cool it actually is. I think the mechanical action of its movement is absolutely the neatest thing about it, but after it is done moving and just sitting there in the up position, my experience is that about half the people I poll actually think it is silly (mostly women. Ok, almost ALL the women.). Some change their mind a bit when I let them know that it is a REAL spoiler and the vehicle NEEDS it, but some still say it is silly.

I always wish I could hear the comments of the person who is behind me when the thing goes up. I bet most of the time it is: "What the ^%$# is that? That is cool!"

I leave it on auto, which gives me something to look forward to when I can find a piece of open road.

Auto even though I rarely go 90mph ,it lets me know when to slow down on surface streets !Since most around here are 35-50 mph.

I let it do it's thing.
I don't particularly like the looks of it up, but it handles great at high speed, (I've hit the limiter a few times*),so I'd never pull the fuse.
Unlike so many "kiddie-cars", our spoiler is real.

*Take my word for it, it was done in a very safe environment. No need to panic.

I keep it in auto.... Goes up when it should and it's cool when I turn on the off ramps and it goes down. Get a lot of thumbs-up from drivers behind me.....

I leave it in auto mode every time i got to work right before i turn i make the spoiler kick into action just for giggles and while im turning into the parking lot it goes down  Just something i now got into doing. Its funny some peoples reaction when ya turn it on when they are looking at the car. What it lacks in power more than makes up for it in style.

I too have played with an admirer or two behind me by putting up the wing. But that was primarily when I first got my car. Was a good flirt mechanism. I know, I am bad. Now I leave it in automatic mode.

But I do wish I had put the spoiler up when I have taken some of the pictures of it. I seem to always forget.

I always have it in auto mode. Every now and then, I will be stopped at a red light and some car will pull up beside me and say, "can you make the spoiler go up?" I still get a kick out of it.....

I usually leave mine in auto, but occasionally when I am being followed, I move it up or down to show them it works. Once they notice it, they point at it when it moves.

I leave mine in automatic mode. Like most other posts above have noted, I do the occasional manual override to "show off" . I raise it manually when washing the car too. I hesitate to leave it 'up' when parked anywhere, I think that's just asking for someone to walk by and fiddle with it.
