Default New Crossfire - New noise

Hi everyone!

I just got my new crossfire a week ago and I love it! It's wonderful the looks and attention this car gets.

I have a 2005 black crossifre limited coupe with an automatic transmission.

Anyway I have a question. I just noticed yesterday a noise that I am concerned about. When I am turning left I hear a pop sound from the rear of the car. I originally thought something was in the trunk area and rolled to the side and thumped against the side but I've checked the tire stuff in there and it's all in tight and nothing else is in there. I'm thinking about taking it up to the dealer tomorrow but there aren't many crossfires in northeast kentucky so i'm not too confident they will have even seen one before! (I bought mine 300 miles away).

Thanks!

Do a search for "noise" in Technical & Mods. There are several threads on noises. Rear deck Lid adjustment is the most common. A few suspension problems. The suspension were mostly on the early production numbers.
Mine (#980) had some bushing missing.

As for your Dealer, You are probably right, most Dealers don't have a lot of experience with the Xfire, but they do have someone they can call to get the right info.

I decided to take it in to the dealer and after a day of researching it they are telling me the In Links on the rear end need replaced? Not really sure what that even is but they have the part on order. We'll see if it does the trick.
