Default Cup Holder Situtation

 Here is the situtation....I had a foam cup in the cupholder and somehow there was a hole in the cup. Before I knew it - half the coffee was gone and had leaked somewhere below the cupholder. Anyone know how or what I would have to do to get that liquad out of the cup holder area??? I don't want to leave the liquad in there for too long.

I sure did have the same problem. And I haven't used a cup that wasn't stainless steel with a lid ever since that incident.

I managed to find the link.

If you have any questions on how I got everything apart, just send me a PM.

Good luck!

Default Thanks

Thanks for all the help gang. My boyfriend bought me a new cup so that he doesn't have to listen to me anymore about this problem. But he liked the idea of super glue since he always opens the holder with his elbow while he's driving. But I suspect that is the start of the problem - I shouldn't let him drive my car anyways.

You should all try my "Cupholder Solution Mod", that I posted on here.

Once you do it, there will be no more problems like the ones posted above! And no more hitting it open with your elbow!

I'm glad to hear that the Starbucks cup fits in the holder. I was wondering that because I have one that I take everyplace with me, especially in my car. I was sitting in a roadster today for awhile and when I raised the cupholder, it looked like something the Starbucks cup would fit into. It certainly won't crush my stainless steel cup like it seems to do to the foam cups.

I heard that they don't have cupholders in the European models because they don't think you should be drinking anything when you're driving there. That might be why we barely have one in the american models. Most of the American made cars have more cup holders that one can use!!
We just got a Grand Am for one of our kids and there are 3 cup holders for the 2 front seats! [(but no ash tray),and I say yay for that part.]

Just don't have too many donuts with those coffees, or YOU might not fit next to that cup holder! HAHAHAHA!
