tire problem
tire problem
Well It finally happened I got my first flat and it cost me a new tire. I tried to use the tire fit solution provided with the crossfire but it still wouldn't hold air. Managed to limp in to a tire place and had to buy a new tire as getting there ruined any chance of saving the tire. The only good news is that they had the right size It is a Fuzion tire and only cost 160.00 installed (included balancing taxes etc). I am really glad this did not happen out in the middle of nowhere.
Re: tire problem
so now you have two types of different tires are your crossfire? personally this would drive me nuts. my tires have to match as a complete set of 4...pairs don't even cut it imo.
i understand you were in a pickle but i would buy 3 more fusions or 1 new factory like tire.
maybe it's just me and my 2 cents.

Re: tire problem
Do you guys not have the wheel/tire insurance package? Maybe it was something only offered on a dealer to dealer basis. I pay $10 extra per month for extra coverage of my wheels and tires. Should I receive any damage to my wheels or tires, my dealer will replace them at no cost to me. This is, of course, providing I don't intentionally cause the damage myself.

Re: tire problem
TSaxMan,
Was the extra coverage for tires and wheels, issued through DChrysler? I own my Roadster out right, was the extra coverage only offered on cars that were leased and or financed? My current insurance carrier does not offer this type of coverage. Sounds like a good package to have, I will do some research.
