Okay so I was just driving yesterday and my Oil Light came on randomly, I drive the Crossfire Limited. I was just wondering why that might be? I just got an oil change maybe two months ago so I couldn’t have gone through all that within that short of time. Is it just something random like the check engine light? That always comes on and goes as well in my car, has this happened to anyone else? Any info would be great, just would like to know if this is something I should be concerned about or not.

 

well..... did you check the oil level?

Edit: Your check engine light shouldn't be randomly going on and off, that's not normal. You should definitely be concerned about that.

 

oil pump might be clogged or failing. Definitely check the level. If it's good I'd consider having the pan pulled and the pump/screen checked/replaced.

 

had to replace oil level sending sensor on mine

 

If it's over filled the light could come on and off. Check the level before doing anything else.
