Hi,

Just traded my bmw z3 for a 2004 crossfire coupe last night. While driving on the highway, there is a loud rattle coming from the back of the car. hatch securely closed, so was wondering if the spoiler makes that kind of noise when it is deployed. Anyone else hearing this?

I had a noise coming from the rear and the dealership swapped out a part on the spoiler that was rubbing against another part when deploying. Might want to have them check that out.

There is a TSB on a rear hatch rattle, it is fixed by having the latch replaced.

After owning my Crossfire for a few months, a rattle would occur on some bumps, I had the rear latch replaced, no more rattle.

 

Thanks a lot for the info you guys are awesome! will have the dealer check the rear hatch latch and the spoiler.
