Crossfire Concept car- http://motortrend.com/future/concept...fir/index.html
Was suppose to have a 2.7 Supercharged good for 275hp and suppose to run head to head with a Boxter S. Talk about falling short. Must say though our cars look better than the crossfire concept.

jesus christ they screwed us over big time, that concept is amazing, only thing i would change would to make the face like the production crossfire, other than that that car is a beast.
real-time performance computer in front of the passenger seat, awesome.
oh well, just wait for the new one.

I agree about the looks, I like the production car better. If they were sold with the front end like the concept has, I would not have bought one.
As far as the engine goes, it obviously would have been nice to have 275 HP, but..."The engine is actually Chrysler's production 2.7L DOHC V-6 currently used in the Dodge Intrepid/Stratus and the Chrysler Sebring/Concorde." I think I'm happier having a Mercedes engine than the Chrysler engine.
Thta real time performance computer would have been sweet though.

I think the gold one was the Dodge SLINGSHOT concept car, wasn't it? Similar and wish they would bring that one out, too. Read that Chrysler killed the ME Concept for production but is taking a more serious look at the Firepower concept for production.

I can't imagine the winning designer of two concept cars would be going anywhere...
