Default Rear sway bar mount broken

Hi, my Crossfire Limited coupe is making a funny metal bang in the left rear quarter area at slow speeds going over bumps rough road etc. Turns out where the rear sway bar is attached to the body, the mount attach to the chassis has cracked causing the sway bar to "clack" against the body, engineer/welder to fix properly hopefully. Has anybody on this forum ever had this problem or is it one of those freaky things that happen from time to time? Cheers James from Tassie, Australia.

Lots of times, there were pictures of a fix but they are gone now.
