Default 4 channel amp

I understand I need to cut input wires at the amp and run new wire to aftermarket radio. The post I read says to cut at pins 3/8 and 9/10 for subs. The picture shows a pair of yellow and a pair of blue wites cut but the pins 3/8 are solid blue and 9/10 are blue with a brwn stripe. What am I not getting here?

Your big mistake is starting another thread on the same subject.
Why confuse the people who can help you with answers spread over two threads.
