Default Weird Strong Burning Smell Occurring!

Hey everyone, first post on here! Had a problem while driving today and need some advice. I noticed a really strong/bad smell after going up and down a hill/incline multiple times in my crossfire (07 base model). The best way I could describe the smell would be a mixture between something burning and roadkill (it made me a bit nauseous). I can't really tell if its coming from something under the hood or if its from the exhaust pipe.

I was teaching my brother how to drive a manual and was having him practice starting and stopping when going up a steep hill/incline. I had him do this about 10 times. It was after this when the smell started.

Now the smell occurs even while idling. I will start it up in the morning and see if it goes away. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be?

It slips once every so often, but not every time I drive it which is usually daily. So Id say once a week at most.

Most likely the clutch.
New driver + manual transmission + starting and stopping on hills = burnt clutch.

Putting all his symptoms in one paragraph we see that they are a bit conflicting, he said them all on the same day.
